a slightly tiny sneak preview

I'm so very excited to announce that next winter, 2013, I have a new contemporary fiction middle grade novel, which is entitled DESTINY, REWRITTEN, that will be released from HarperCollins with editor Molly O'Neill.  The book is about an eleven year old girl who is named after Emily Dickinson.  She is expected to become a poet, but she doesn't actually like poetry and instead, wants to write romance novels.

Erwin Madrid did the above cover sketch.  It's not the final cover, I'll save that for another post.  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the sketch as much as I do!
